Jeannie and the Huckstep & Associates, LLC firm have been a leading provider of Sage Fund Accounting software since 1993. The firm also works with the Sage HRMS products, and has developed extensive integration tools. Jeannie has personally been involved with over 200 successful implementations of Sage Fund Accounting and manages over 300 customers. Her experience with these implementations, as well as her background as a CPA, contributes greatly to her skills in the project management area. Jeannie is currently treasurer of the Sage Leadership Alumni Academy Association, is a member of the Information Technology Alliance (ITA), a member of AICPA, and both the Missouri and Michigan societies of Certified Public Accountants.
Tim Ziegner
Ziegner Technologies
In 1994, Tim Ziegner founded Ziegner Technologies, Inc. Tim and his team have worked with literally hundreds of non-profit and government agencies to implement a better accounting software solution. He has been repeatedly recognized as MIP’s Authorized Consultant of the Year, Customer Service Award, and Training Partner of the Year.
Prior to becoming one of Sage fund Accounting’s first channel resellers as Ziegner Technologies, Tim worked as an employee for MIP, Inc. While working for MIP, his duties were mainly in technical support and later, sales and marketing. Technical support functions involved providing setup, software testing, writing documentation, training class instruction, and troubleshooting with thousands of Sage Fund Accounting customer organizations worldwide. Sales and marketing duties included pre-sale needs analysis, product demonstration, structuring chart of accounts and report formatting for prospective ends-users, training seminars, and third-party software analysis.
Shirley Siler, CPA

Since 1994, Ziegner Technologies has been helping organizations like yours measure success while implementing targeted software solutions. Ziegner Technologies serves nonprofit’s, state and local agencies, and associations around the world. Shirley Siler joined Ziegner Technologies in November 2003. In addition to Sage Fund Accounting implementations and training, she acts as a liaison to the nonprofit community in the Austin area.
She started as a Customer Support Representative at MIP, Inc. in 1992. Phone support, customer training and employee training were just a few of the diverse areas where Shirley applied her combined knowledge of nonprofit’s, accounting and computers. In 1996, when the Windows product was being developed, she became Manager of Quality Assurance where she worked closely with system analysts, programmers, testers and technical writers. Shirley worked in Public Accounting for seven years and has a total of 16 years of Fund Accounting experience with nonprofit, governmental, and quasi-governmental organizations.
Rick Meeks
Huckstep & Associates, LLC
Rick Meeks joined Huckstep & Associates with over 12 years of experience in the nonprofit community both as a CPA who conducted nonprofit audits and as a Sage Fund Accounting consultant. He has done hundreds of implementations across the country from single user installs to large international nonprofits with remote processing in other countries. In past years, Rick has been a presenter at the Sage customer conference. He also supports Sage HRMS and Sage FAS and has successfully integrated those two products with Fund Accounting.
Steve Hamel

Steve Hamel brings to Huckstep & Associates over 15 years of experience in Sage Abra HRMS both as a business partner and implementation specialist. Steve has extensive knowledge of all Sage Abra versions and modules including SQL and web based applications. Steve takes pride in ensuring clients are well trained on the solutions provided and become as self-sufficient as possible.
